I believe he has around 15k hp, which was about 3-4 "full dots" for me, with 236 spell dmg. When he comes to you, simply fear him and dot him up, do your thing etc, and use the imp for mana. What I did was jump down there, summon imp, and wait for him to patrol between the bigger tent in the middle and the smaller tent on the right, and then put an instant dot on him to aggro him when he was perfectly distanced from both mobs, so I didn't pull adds. When you look down there, you can see that there's another piece of 'cliff' from which you can actually attack him with ranged. Provided you know where he is, you should know that you can actually jump into the small, secluded place where he is, by jumping from the cliff a bit left of the bridge to the ramparts instances.
